Doughnut incision involves an incision around the areola in a concentric fashion. The amount of lifting that can be achieved is usually greater than the crescent incision.
Vertical incision achieves a greater amount of breast lifting, but involves an incision that not only surrounds the areola, but also extends vertically from the areola to nearly the lower crease of the breast.
